BANG!

Review by James Sherlock

BANG!, 10th anniversary edition

‘I’m going to bang you’
‘Oh come on, that’s just mean’
‘Sorry, but you’re the only person around this table that I can bang’
‘But I’m your sister!

Not a conversation you ever want to have. However one that is very typical in your average game of Bang!

This week's Tabletop Season 3 feature is Dead of Winter. Watch Wil Wheaton, Grant Imahara, Dodger Leigh, and Ashley Johnson try and survive the zombie apocalypse. However, one of the group may be working against the rest with their own devious plan at hand.

Dominion

"Who will reign supreme?"

Dominion is a 2-4 player game created by Donald X. Vaccarino and published in 2008 by Rio Grande Games. The game is centred around deck building; a mechanic where each player concentrates on creating their own deck of cards from the supply (500 cards, not all at once!) and then reusing those cards to in turn acquire more cards. Still with me?! It sounds complicated but it definitely isn't.

Pandemic

"A truly cooperative game where you all win or you all lose"

Pandemic, 1st Edition

This is where it all began, the start of my board game adventure! A bunch of us were at a friends house when this was suggested. Having only ever played the usual suspects (Monopoly, Scrabble, etc.) I was intrigued from the off. What was this new game? Was I going to like it? What the hell do I do? There was only one way to find out...
